Romantic Relationships

Couples counseling is a benefit even for those who are not struggling in their relationships.  We like to think of it as having a tune up to make sure that things continue to run smoothly.  When things  aren’t running smoothly, couples counseling can help give you the tools and a safe space to work on the issues you  are facing. This type of counseling can involve premarital, those in the LGBTQ+ community, and those anywhere on their romantic journey.

Benefits: better communication, new perspectives, see the bigger picture, deeper connection, improved intimacy, prioritize your relationship, rebuild trust

Platonic Relationships

Platonic, or friendship therapy, can help you work through sensitive topics as we create a safe space with a third party to help everyone see both sides of the situation.

Benefits: better communication, new perspectives, bigger picture, deeper connections

Relationship with Self

Individual therapy helps you to explore your thoughts, feelings and patterns of behavior.   You can learn boundary building, coping skills, self appreciation, and self awareness.  If you are suffering from stress, anxiety, or mild depression, speaking with someone can help you develop a plan of action to decrease the symptoms of these issues.

Benefits: long lasting relationships, knowing what you want out of life and road map to get there, increase feelings of empowerment, decrease stress, manage anxiety and depression, improve sleep and health habits

Divorce

Divorce counseling is much like couples counseling except you and your spouse are working to discover if divorce is what you want and how to go about it in an amicable manner.

Benefits: Having a third party to assist in the conversation, efficient and effective divorce decision, increase feelings of empowerment, decrease stress, manage anxiety and depression

Co-Parenting

Co-parenting counseling may seem like it would be like couples therapy–except it is focused on the needs of your children.  It will help you improve your communication skills and assist you and your ex in learning how to be better parents apart.

Benefits: Build a better parenting partnership for your children.  Take the conflict out of compromise. Develop a plan with someone who will keep you accountable. Provides both parents a voice.
